Fullcourt Press/Pangos Exposure Summer 2023 Events

For over 30 years, Fullcourt Press/Pangos events have set the quality standard for West Coast exposure and live-period events.    

At a time when all kinds of new event operators and "Bad Hoop Circuits" are popping up on the scene like Starbucks coffee houses, promising the best "this and that" when it comes to basketball competition and exposure, Fullcourt Press/Pangos events have a long track-record of delivering what teams expect and deserve of exposure events.

Schools from every major NCAA D1 conference have attended live-period Fullcourt Press/Pangos events and these events have attracted every major media/scouting outlets like ESPN.com, Rivals.com, 247Sports.com, Scout.com, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and NBC Sports as well as McDonald's All-American Game voters like Frank Burlison, Van Coleman, Clark Francis, Brick Oettinger, Chris Lawlor, Grant Rice and Basketball Writers Hall of Famer Dick "Hoops" Weiss.  Video-highlight coverage is 2nd to none with regular visitors Ball is Life, Courtside Films, Home Team Hoops, Highlight Sports Productions, Hoop Mix Tape, Overtime, Hoop Journey, Ball Dawgs and Beach City Hoops.  

Fullcourt Press/Pangos has an official live-stream partner BallerTV.com which live-streams (and makes available for replay) ALL games from all our Fullcourt Press/Pangos events. This allows college coaches and scouts coast to coast to watch ALL of our live and non-live period events.

June 30th Event: 120 players are expected from throughout the West to showcase their skills here for an array of national and regional scouts and media including Frank Burlison (BurlisonOnBasketball.com), Van Coleman (Nothing But Net Magazine), Ronnie Flores (GrassrootsHoops.net & BallisLife.com) and Dinos Trigonis (Fullcourt Press & Nothing But Magazine). 

July 1st Event: 24 Top AAU squads will be on display in a easy and convenient format in preparation for the July NCAA live period the following week

Pangos Premier 80 Showcase
Thursday July 6, 2023 @ McBride HS (Long Beach CA)

Founded in 2017, this event has now become the West Coast trademark tip-off event of the July Live Period. 80 top players (mostly from the West but also from other regions) will showcase their skills in front of dozens of NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA & JC coaches as well as media/scouts like Frank Burlison (BurlisonOnBasketball.com), Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life), Joel Francisco (Prep Hoops), Chad Groth (Area Codes Basketball), Devin Ugland (Hoops by Ugland/Prep Hoops), Paul Hernandez (661 Hoops/NBN Magazine) and Aaron Burgin (Prep Hoops).

Pangos Summer Sweet 16
Friday-Sunday July 7-9, 2023 @ The MAP Sports Facility (Garden Grove CA) 

* NCAA Certified *

This 96 team tournament (made up of six 16 team brackets) will feature several of California's and the West Coast's top 17u, 16u & 15u club teams for easy viewing by scouts and media.   Friday-Sunday bracket format guarantees ALL teams 4 games in a clean 1 Friday - 2 Saturday - 1 Sunday game sequence.    

All teams play at same facility on Friday July 7th, Saturday July 8th and Sunday July 9th (MAP Sports Facility/Garden Grove CA).   Games start at 3:30pm on Friday July 7th and last round of games tip-off at 2:50pm on Sunday July 9th.  

$650 per team (4 game guarantee)

Tuesday-Thursday July 11-13  @ (Las Vegas NV)
Invite-ONLY  ** Held During NCAA Quiet Period**

From the creator of the Las Vegas Fab 48 Dinos Trigonis, the next big thing to hit Vegas has arrived: invite-only Fantastic 40

Inaugural Fantastic 40 was held in Las Vegas NV in August 2019 and its 17u title was captured by adidas powerhouse Compton Magic & tourney MVP Jaylen Clark (UCLA/2023 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year) who defeated Nike juggernaut Seattle Rotary in the championship game.  For 2019 results click here.

2020 Fantastic 40 was not held due to Covid-19.  2021 Fantastic 40 was won by 3D Empire (TX) and projected 2023 NBA Draft 1st round pick Anthony Black (Arkansas)

2023 event will consist of three divisions (17u, 16u & 15u) and will take place at Las Vegas NV.

4 Game Guarantee.    

Event format: 1 pool play game on Tuesday, 2 pool play games on Wednesday and play-offs/consolation games on Thursday/Friday morning 

This event will be held during an NCAA non-viewing period).  No NCAA rules in effect (adjoining state rule, USA Gold license, etc.).  Expecting substantial contingent of national/regional scouts and top teams coast to coast.

Pangos All-American Festival
Saturday-Sunday August 26-27 @ McBride HS (Long Beach CA) 
Invite-Only

This event takes the Top 10 players in each region of the USA from the June Pangos All-American Camp and places them on 4 teams (East, Midwest, South and West) to compete in a Final 4 type format. The inaugural Pangos All-American Festival was held on November 7-8, 2020 at AZ Compass Prep (Chandler AZ) and it was a smashing success! The 2020 event was headlined by the Top 3 picks of the 2022 NBA Draft: #1 Paolo Banchero (Duke/Orlando Magic), #2 pick Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga/OKC Thunder) and #3 pick Jabari Smith (Auburn/Houston Rockets) and included other 2022 NBA 1st rounders #20 Malaki Branham (Ohio State/San Antonio Spurs) and #29 TyTy Washington (Kentucky/Houston Rockets) as well 2022 NBA 2nd round pick #45 Josh Minott (Memphis/Minnesota Timberwolves).

This invite-only skills workout (now in its 5th year) is directed start to finish by current TNT NBA analyst Kenny Smith (former NBA champion lead guard - Houston Rockets).
