Fullcourt Press/Pangos Exposure Summer 2020 Events

For over 25 years, Fullcourt Press/Pangos events have set the quality standard for West Coast exposure and live-period events.  

At a time when all kinds of new event operators and "Bad Hoop Circuits" are popping up on the scene like Starbucks coffee houses, promising the best "this and that" when it comes to basketball competition and exposure, Fullcourt Press/Pangos events have a long track-record of delivering what teams expect and deserve of exposure events.

Schools from every major NCAA D1 conference have attended live-period Fullcourt Press/Pangos events and these events have attracted every major media/scouting outlets like ESPN.com, Rivals.com, 247Sports.com, Scout.com, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and NBC Sports as well as McDonald's All-American Game voters like Frank Burlison, Van Coleman, Clark Francis, Brick Oettinger, Chris Lawlor, Grant Rice and Basketball Writers Hall of Famer Dick "Hoops" Weiss.  Video-highlight coverage is 2nd to none with regular visitors Ball is Life, Courtside Films, Home Team Hoops, Highlight Sports Productions, Hoop Mix Tape, Overtime, Hoop Journey, BallerVision and Beach City Hoops. 

Fullcourt Press/Pangos has an official live-stream partner Baller.tv which live-streams (and makes available for replay) ALL games from all our Fullcourt Press/Pangos events. This allows college coaches and scouts coast to coast to watch ALL of our non-live period events.

Below is an outline of the Summer 2020 (July & August) events we are planning

Saturday-Sunday July 11-12, 2020 
Pangos Summer Sweet 16 @ MAP (Garden Grove CA) 

This 64-80 team tournament (made up of four-five 16 team brackets) will feature several of California's and the West Coast's top club teams for easy viewing by scouts and media.   Friday-Sunday bracket format guarantees ALL teams 4 games in a clean 1 Friday - 2 Saturday - 1 Sunday game sequence.  

This event will be held this year during an NCAA non-viewing period).  No NCAA rules in effect (adjoining state rule, USA Gold license, etc.).

All teams play at same facility on Friday July 10th, Saturday July 11th  and Sunday July 12th (MAP Sports Facility/Garden Grove CA).

Historically the West Coast's top July individual exposure camp (established in 1997), it has showcased the likes of future NBA and college stars like Brandon Jennings, DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook, Gilbert Arenas, Trevor Ariza, Aaron Afflalo, Jrue Holiday, Jared Dudley, Jerryd Bayless, Jordan Hamilton, Gabe Pruitt, Travon Bryant,  Davon Jefferson, Jamal Boykin, Ryan Hollins, DeAndre Daniels, Cezar Guerrero, Isaiah Austin, Grant Jerrett, Isaac Hamilton, Daniel Hamilton, Tyler Dorsey and Ikenna Iroegbu.

This 5th annual team tourney will be composed of 120-plus top national independent grassroots squads in 17u, 16u and 15u divisions.  The last four years, the tourney field has included such top travel teams as Belmont Shore (CA), CIA Bounce (Canada), Young-n-Reckless (IL), BTI (CA), Northern Kings (Canada), Wisconsin United (WI), Texas Boys Basketball Club (TX), LA Rockfish (LA), Team Melo (MD), Factory (AZ), Pocket City (IN), UPlay Canada, Cal Supreme (CA), Dallas Mustangs (TX), The House (MS), Lone Star Elite (TX), Vegas Elite (NV), Team Legit (IN), Cali Stars (CA), Dakota Schoolers (SD), Minnesota Powerhouse (MN), DFW Defenders (TX), RL9 (TX), Greenwood Elite (MI), Georgia Tornadoes (GA), Colorado Chaos (CO), Cali Rebels (CA), Alvin Gentry Elite (AZ), Squires Richmond (VA), A2P (IN), 3D Athletes (OK), New York Havoc (NY) and Indiana Faith (IN) and has attracted over 150 D-I coaches and media each year including head coaches Tom Izzo (Michigan State), Bill Self (Kansas), Archie Miller (Indiana), John Belein (Michigan/Cleveland Cavs), Matt Painter (Purdue), Andy Enfield (USC), Mike White (Florida), Leonard Hamilton (Florida State), Mick Cronin (UCLA), Mike Hopkins (Washington), Jerrod Haas (Stanford), Rick Stansbury (Western Kentucky), Mick Cronin (Cincinnati), Jamie Dixon (TCU) and TJ Otzelberger (UNLV) as well as national scouts like Eric Bossi (Rivals.com), Jeff Borzello (ESPN.com), Ronnie Flores (Ball is Life) and Brian Snow (247Sports.com).  

This event will be held this year during an NCAA non-viewing period) and is expected to attracted several top Nike, adidas and Under Armour squads.  No NCAA rules in effect (adjoining state rule, USA Gold license, etc.).

Event Format is two pool play games, one on Friday (1 game) and one on Saturday morning/early afternoon (1 game) with Play-offs/Consolation games starting on Saturday night (1 game) and continuing on Sunday (1-2 games).

From the creator of the Las Vegas Fab 48 Dinos Trigonis, the next big thing to hit Vegas has arrived: invite-only Earl Watson's Fantastic 40.

Event will consist of four divisions (17u Invite, 17u Platinum, 16u & 15u) and will take place at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy in Las Vegas NV (4 courts).  4 Game Guarantee.  

Last year's inaugural event was captured in 17u Division by adidas powerhouse Compton Magic Elite who defeated Nike EYBL program Seattle Rotary in title game.
