Dreamin' of Elite High School Hoops: A Brief History of the Pangos Dream Classic

After a multi-year hiatus, the legendary Pangos Dream Classic is back and resurfacing in Las Vegas on Saturday January 24, 2015.

The 2015 Pangos Dream Classic schedule is a follows:

10:00am   Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas NV) vs. Liberty (Las Vegas NV) (Girls)

12:00pm   Maranatha (Pasadena CA)  vs. Centennial (Las Vegas NV)

2:00pm  Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas NV) vs. Findlay Prep (Henderson NV)*

4:00pm  Santa Monica (Santa Monica CA) vs. Las Vegas (Las Vegas NV)

*Big City Showdown Game @ Pangos Dream Classic

Past Pangos Dream Classic's has showcased many future NBA stars. The 2003 Pangos Dream Classic featured the #1 pick of the 2003 NBA Draft LeBron James (Miami Heat) and attracted 12,500-plus fans, media and scouts to UCLA's Pauley Pavilion as well as a national ESPN2 audience. The 2004 Dream Classic was headlined by three of the top 13 picks of the 2004 NBA Draft: #1 pick Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic), #12 selection Robert Swift (Seattle Supersonics) and the #13 choice Sebastian Telfair (Portland Trailblazers).
