2015 Fullcourt Press Spring League: Report III
(March 17, 2015)

The 2015 Fullcourt Press Spring Leaguecontinued this past Sunday (March 15th) at Warren High School (Downey CA).  Our two previous reports have highlighted several top performers. This report will feature a few fresh faces as well as other repeat standouts.

Isaiah Nichols                                 6’5”     2015   Pacifica (Oxnard CA)
Every spring there seems to be a sleeper or two that emerges that nobody knows about or is severely under-recruited alaKyle Fogg (Brea-Olinda). Fogg had zero D-1 offers at the conclusion of his senior HS season but after a sensational spring that year ended up at Arizona (was a 4 year starter in Tucson as well as All-Pac12).  Nichols has that same sleeper

smell.  Versatile lead guard with nice length and a smooth skill set could be a major object of attention during the upcoming April live periods.  Nichols also has the quickness and tools to be a good defender as well.  Solid student too (3.0 GPA/1310 SAT).

Jeff McClendon                              6’3”     2015   East Side (Lancaster CA)
Long known as SoCal’s top defensive guard, McClendon is showing signs that he is evolving into a nice distributor as well.  Perimeter shot and ballhandling skills are very improved.

Elijah Scott                                       6’4”     2017   Chino Hills (Chino Hills CA)
Very athletic young wing can slash and score with the best in the SoCal class of 2017.

Elias Bell                                           6’8”     2019   Lancaster CA

Athletic combo-guard can really push the ball in transition and is an excellent on-ball defender.

Latrelle Franklin                              5’9”     2015   Great Oak (Temecula CA)
Ultra-quick PG has sizzling ballhandling skills and a great pull-up jump shot.  Franklin and Webb formed a top-notch backcourt that led Great Oak to a 26-5 record this season and reached the CIF-SS Division I-AA title game.
