2015 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp Report

The 2015 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp that was held recently at Cerritos College (Norwalk CA) on July 3-4 attracted roughly 100-plus top high school prospects from California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma and Athens, Greece. This platform gave talented HS prospects in the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 classes a real opportunity to display their skills and future potential.

 Media and scouts on hand included event co-director Dinos Trigonis (Fullcourt Press & Nothing But NetMagazine), event co-director Etop Udo-Ema (Fullcourt Press& Dunk News), Frank Burlison (BurlisononBasketball.com/McDonald’s All-American Game voter), Ronnie Flores (Grassrootshoops.net &BallisLife.com), Joel Francisco (ESPN.com), Matt Rodriguez (BallisLife.com), Tanee Tanespolnsuk (Qwik 11 Scholar Sports), Devin Ugland (USC/Rivals.com & HoopsbyUgland.com), Drew Ruiz (Slam Magazine) and Jeff Meadows (HoopsReport.com).

The camp’s top 50 players were selected by the media/scouts in attendance and were showcased in the two “cream of the crop” games held at the conclusion of the event.

Top 25 Cream of the Crop Selections

Ike Angbogu                       6’9”     2016   Centennial (Corona CA)
Rapidly improving post is strong and athletic in the paint and seems to finish with authority everything he gets his hands on around the cup.  UCLA-bound Ike is a great rim-protector and shot-blocker who is slowly refining his offensive skills on the block and with continued hard-work and development, will be a force on the next level.  Rivals.com’s Eric Bossi recently ranked him #37 in the national 2016 class.  Off the charts student too (4.1 GPA).

Chris Barnes                       6’3”     2016   Compton (Compton CA)
Athletic off-guard is an excellent slashing scorer that scores in bunches.

Jules Bernard                     6’5”     2018   Windward (Los Angeles CA)
Active and productive swingman plays hard baseline to baseline.  Good student (3.4 GPA) recently received an offer from USC.

Isom Butler                          6’2”     2017   Centennial (Corona CA)
Athletic combo-guard has rock-solid handle and is a pesky defender.


Kesean Davis                      6’6”     2016   Price (Los Angeles CA)
SoCal sleeper is a “diamond in the rough” in this West Coast 2016 class.  When focused, Kesean has the requisite athleticism and scoring ability to be a coveted MM+ recruit.  Underrated passer is a good student (3.0 GPA).

Maka Ellis                             6’4”     2018   Sierra Vista (Las Vegas NV)
Big lead guard with very good ball skills and accurate outside stroke is drawing mid-high major interest including San Diego State, Cal, New Mexico State and Rice.

Latrelle Franklin                  5’8”     2015   Great Oak (Temecula CA)
Small but very quick unsigned senior PG can make buckets and handle defensive pressure with ease.

Pepe Garcia Gonzalez       6’3”     2016   Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos CA)
Under the radar shooting guard has long-range 3-point ability.

Christian Gray                     6’5”     2016   JW North (Riverside CA)
Strong forward rebounds well and can finish in traffic.


Jordan Griffin                      6’2”     2016   Centennial (Corona CA) 
Sharp-shooting SG is among the best “catch & shoot” long-range riflemen on the West Coast.  Good student too (3.3 GPA).

Psalm Maduakor                6’4”     2017   Narbonne (Carson CA)
Athletic wing is very good off the bounce and a good student as well (3.3 GPA).

Wyatt Maker                         6’8”     2016   Palma (Salinas CA)
Hard-working face-up forward is also a solid rebounder.  Very good student (3.7 GPA) is the son of former Villanova 6-11 center Wyatt Maker Sr. (member of the Wildcats’ 1985 national championship squad).

Robert McRae                     6’2”     2019   Fairfax (Los Angeles CA)
Very talented rising freshman wing is just oozing with great potential.  Next big time player for Fairfax coach Harvey Kitani.  Very good student too (3.5 GPA).

Johnny McWilliams           6’4”     2016   San Marcos (San Marcos CA)
Wing with real scoring ability is a good student too (3.1 GPA).

Michael Mensah                  6’3”     2017   Granada Hills (Granada Hills CA)
Athletic WG gets after it on the defensive end.  Real sleeper in this rising SoCal junior class.

Isaiah Mobley                      6’7”     2019   Rancho Christian (Temecula CA)
Fast-rising young Big has the versatility to be a problem for opposing defenses both inside and out on the perimeter.  High-major name to remember in this rising freshman class.

Winston Nelson                  6’7”     2017   Norman North (Norman OK)
Heady and skilled combo-forward is a terrific student (4.8 GPA).

Isaiah Nichols                     6’5”     2016   Avon Old Farms (CT)/Oxnard CA
Multi-dimensional lead guard with size, impressive court vision and terrific passing ability is drawing interest from Utah State, Cal, Nevada, Santa Clara, Long Beach State, San Jose State and Cal State Bakersfield.  Nichols is also an underrated shooter and defender.  Currently a full-qualifier, Isaiah has decided to spend a post-grad year at Avon Old Farms school in CT.


Zach Reichle                       6’4”     2017   Wilsonville (Wilsonville OR)
Very smart wing with an accurate perimeter stroke has excellent court instincts.  Word got out quick on Reichle’s fine play here and resulted in real D-I interest materializing including UC-Irvine, which offered him before camp concluded.

Vittorio Reynoso-Avila      6’5”     2016   La Mirada (La Mirada CA)
Skilled WF with an excellent basketball IQ is very productive on both ends of floor.  Top-notch honors student too (4.4 GPA).

Robby Robinson                6’7”     2017   Kearny (San Diego CA)
Rangy PF is agile and works glass well.

Jerell Springer                    6’5”     2017   Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas NV)
Camp revelation is a quick wing with excellent ball and scoring skills.

Cassius Stanley                 6’4”     2019   Harvard-Westlake (North Hollywood CA)
Ultra-athletic lead guard with length and mad bounce also has legit 3-point range and improving ball-handling skills.  Top 10 national prospect in 2019.

Kahri White                          5’10”  2016   Rancho Dominguez Prep (Long Beach CA)
Shifty PG has nice court vision and passing ability.

Makani Whiteside               6’2”     2019   St. John Bosco (Bellflower CA)
Very talented young lead guard can really shoot the rock.  “A” student too.
