2007 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp
Cream of the Crop Top 50 Game Selections

The 10th version of the Fullcourt Press All-West Camp came to a close last month with the event concluding with a trio of “Cream of the Crop” games at Lynwood HS (Lynwood CA).

A big crowd was on hand including dozens of college coaches and media sitting courtside like UCLA, Arizona, USC, Washington, Stanford, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Arizona State, Gonzaga and Boston College as well as national/regional scouts like Frank Burlison (Long Beach Press-Telegram & Scouthoops.com), Dinos Trigonis (Fullcourt Press), Joel Francisco (ESPN), Gerry Freitas (Hoop Review), Etop Udo-Ema (Fullcourt Press & Hoopmasters) and Dave Keefer and Dave Rogahn (California Preps). The level of talent on display this year reaffirmed this event as the top regional summer exposure camp in the West.

Chase Adams 6’3” 2008
Salpointe (Tucson AZ)
Athletic combo-guard has a knack for scoring and is an underrated defender. Adams (a good student) scored 9 points and grabbed 6 boards in this game. [Air Force signee.]
Nigel Ajere 6’6” 2008
Stoneridge School (Simi Valley CA)
Strong and assertive forward gets a lot done in the paint. Ajere was the leading scorer (20 points) and rebounder (11 boards) in this game. Cal State Fullerton, Idaho, Santa Clara, Pepperdine and Arizona State are among the growing number of schools showing interest in this Pasadena HS product.
Kyle Barone 6’11” 2008
Stoneridge School (Simi Valley CA)
Big center is very mobile for size and has room to add strength and weight. Idaho, SUNY-Binghamton and Pepperdine are among the schools showing interest.

Tre Brewer 6’5” 2008
Etiwanda (Etiwanda CA)
Athletic wing is an excellent mid-major prospect.
Deonta Burton 6’1” 2010
Cabrillo (Long Beach CA)
Very promising lead guard is strong and athletic. High-major potential.
Bryce Cartwright 6’0” 2008
Dominguez (Compton CA)
Productive combo-guard plays hard all the time and makes plays at both ends. Bryce had 12 points/4 assists here.
Angelo Chol 6’8” 2011
Hoover (San Diego CA)
Young post is oozing with potential and is one to definitely track in this class.

Quamaine Crymes 6’4” 2008
Joel John (Los Angeles CA)
Lefty is a strong and athletic wing drawing mid-major interest.
James Dean 6’3” 2008
Hargarve Military Academy (Chatham VA)
Cerebral sharp-shooter plays with great energy and is an underrated rebounder (had 6 boards here). Las Vegas native is a terrific student that is drawing interest from the academies, Ivies and Patriot League schools.
Michael Elliott 6’0” 2008
El Dorado (Las Vegas NV)
Quick point has very solid handle and can really apply defensive pressure. Northern Colorado and Cal State Northridge are among several schools showing interest.

James Ellisor 6’5” 2008
Glendale (Glendale AZ)
Strong swingman scored many of his points at this camp getting to the cup and finishing. Good student (3.5 GPA) had 12 points/7 boards here.
Jordan Finn 6’4” 2009
Etiwanda (Etiwanda CA)
Smooth and skilled wing has a nice stroke and a very good overall feel for the game. Potential national sleeper in this class.
Hamid Ford 6’0” 2008
Findlay Prep (Henderson NV)
SoCal native is a scrappy and aggressive point that is active on the defensive end. Love that hair too.
Tyler Gage 6’3” 2008
Salpointe (Tucson AZ)
Outstanding student (3.8 GPA) has a great touch on his jump shot and is a rapidly improving all-around player.

Kenneth “Mookie” Gilbert 6’6” 2008
East (Denver CO)
Strong athlete with size is an excellent rebounder.
Deandre Haskins 6’4” 2008
Lalemuire Prep (La Porte IN)
Long Beach CA area native is a very effective slashing scorer and good defender.
Aaron Hawk-Harris 6’4” 2008
Palisades (Los Angeles CA)
Very underrated Southern California prospect has a strong body, a great first step and nice ability to score within the three-point stripe.

Deante Jones 6’8” 2008 Valley (Las Vegas NV)
Post with size rebounds well (had 10 boards here) and can score when needed on the block.
Kelly Kaigler 6’3” 2008 Oakgrove (San Jose CA)
Very underrated combo-guard has very nice ability to beat defenders off the dribble and can also apply intense pressure on the defensive end (had 3 steals in this game). Solid student (2.8 GPA/1300 SAT).
Dominick LaCoste 6’0” 2009 Dominguez (Compton CA)
Quick point is a Long Beach Poly transfer that has a smooth handle and pin-point passing ability.
Dominic Powell 6’6” 2008 Palo Alto (Palo Alto CA)
Long lefty is an impressive slashing scorer that spent the first two years of his HS career at Spring Valley (Las Vegas NV).
Jacob Ranger 6’5” 2008 Carpinteria (Carpinteria CA)
Strong and physical scorer has excellent perimeter range and is a deceptive athlete and very good student (3.5 GPA). [UC-Davis signee.]
Kevin Ryan 6’7” 2008 El Segundo (El Segundo CA)
Physical post bangs with the best down low and can finish with regularity in traffic. Ryan scored 9 points and picked up 8 rebounds in this game.
Terrance Reeves 6’1” 2008 Poly (Long Beach CA)
Emerging D-I combo-guard prospect had a very good summer and this event was no different.
Enrique Vasquez 6’6” 2007 San Diego (San Diego CA)
Agile combo-forward runs floor well and can finish in transition.
Julius Von Hanzlik 6’5” 2008 Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills CA)
Shooter with size has range on jump shot.
Caspar Ware 5’9” 2008 Gahr (Cerritos CA)
Small, but quick and heady point gives you 100% each time out. Underrated shooter recently committed to Long Beach State. [Long Beach State signee.]
Breen Weeks 6’3” 2008 Cathedral (San Diego CA)
Scrappy lead guard plays with great confidence and loves to make big shots. Good student too (3.1 GPA).
Travis Wilson 6’7” 2008 Cabrillo (Long Beach CA)
Intriguing forward is long and athletic with much upside. Class of 2008 sleeper could be a valuable spring signee.
