After his Compton team was eliminated last Saturday night, DeRozan wasted little time transitioning to spring ball as he made a surprise visit to the FPSL to team with Gillenwater, Woolridge and Julyan Stone on a Belmont Shore squad that showed it may be a force to be reckoned with this spring and summer.

One of top unsigned seniors still on the board, Stone is a Brian Shaw-type point guard with the size and versatility to play all three perimeter positions.

Soft outside touch with an uncanny knack to score is a combination that makes Block a dangerous scorer.
Avner Alkhas 6’3” Sr. Northwood (Irvine CA)
Outstanding three-point shooter has a great basketball IQ and an impressive 4.0-plus GPA in the classroom.
Chris Jones 6’3” Jr. Newark Memorial (Newark CA)
Athletic combo-guard is a great “on-ball” defender and a solid ballhandler and passer.

Sharp-shooting wing has tremendous range on jump shot and is a real sleeper in the Class of 2008.

Athletic combo-guard plays excellent defense and has nice ability to beat defenders off the dribble.

Las Vegas native is a gym rat with a nice perimeter stroke. Excellent student.

Athletic wing runs floor well and can finish above the rim.

Crafty wing is active defensively and can score in traffic.

Smart point has dangerous three-point stroke.
Daryl Glover 5’10” Jr. Morningside (Inglewood CA)
Quick point has nice scoring skills.
Cezar Guerrero 5’11” 8th Huntington Park CA
Amazing 8th PG has terrific ability to beat defenders off the dribble. Cezar had a 30 point-plus game in this league playing against high school competition and looks to be an impact 2011 freshman next season.
