Stoneridge School Hosts Inaugural Prep Classic
East Meets West in Big Time Prep Event
September 18, 2006, SIMI VALLEY, CA. Stoneridge School announced today that they will be hosting their inaugural Stoneridge Holiday Prep Classic on Friday, December 1st through Sunday, December 3rd at the new USC Galen Center. This will be the first major prep school basketball event to be held west of the Mississippi.
The field will include nationally ranked prep school teams South Kent School (CT), Brewster Academy (ME), Boys to Men (IL), St. Thomas More (CT), Findlay College Prep (NV) and Stoneridge School (CA). The showcase format will feature match-ups consisting of the East Coast, traditional prep school, playing against their new, West Coast rivals. Each session on Friday through Sunday will consist of 3 games with each being held at the beautiful new Galen Center on the campus of USC.
