6'7" senior forward Chris Reyes (Damien/La Verne CA) has decided to play his college ball for Randy Bennett and WCC power St. Mary's - picking the Gaels over the other three schools he officially visited Boston College, Gonzaga and UC-Santa Barbara.

Reyes was outstanding this spring and summer at individual events like the Pangos All-American Camp (selected to the Top 50 Game there) and Fullcourt Press All-West Camp (made Top 25 Game there) as well as being an important component for a Belmont Shore club team (led by Top 10 national senior Grant Jerrett/committed to Arizona) that participated at such top club events as the Real Deal (Little Rock AR), Bob Gibbons Tourney Champions (Raleigh NC/2011 Select Division runners-up) and Las Vegas Fab 48 (super pool participant).

Reyes (currently ranked #150 in the nation by Hot100Hoops.com) averaged 17 points and 10 boards for Damien (26-4) last season.
