Franklin Commits!
6'2" senior point guard LaBradford Franklin (Great Oak/Temecula CA) has committed to San Diego State - picking Steve Fisher's Aztecs over interest from Gonzaga, Hawaii, Washington State, Long Beach State, Marquette and UCLA.
Franklin was a 2009 Pangos All-American Camp invitee (selected by the national media to the Top 40 "cream of the crop" game there), a Top 25 "cream of the crop" selection at last July's Fullcourt Press All-West Camp (Hawthorne CA) as well as being a standout player for the Belmont Shore club program all last spring and summer (poured in 35 points in Belmont Shore Gold's major 1st round upset of Compton Magic at last July's Pangos Summer Sweet 16.
Franklin is presently ranked #194 in the national 2010 class by national
scout Bob Gibbons (All-Star Report).
